We met Sali in Kyanjin Gompa in the Langtang Valley. He was very friendly and helped us with a bit of planning (for free). He is exelent at english (as opposed to a lot of other "guides") and knows his way around very well. I would very much recommend him as a guide.

I am a 23 year old female who trekked solo for 2 weeks with a guide from Mountain World Treks. The guide was 100% professional and trustworthy, whilst at the same time, being great fun to travel with. I returned to Nepal 30 years after my previous visit, fulfilled a dream and completed the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek with my 23 year old daughter. Arranged through Saligram(Mountain World Treks), everything went smoothly. Saligram replied promptly and reassuringly to emails, and was alert and flexible about our particular needs. Our guide was knowledgable and competent, but also understanding of our different ages and abilities! Our young porter was extremely helpful, well beyond his expected duties. The Ghorepani trek is ideally suited to a family or first trek. Despite the 'Easy' grade (don't be fooled), it is hard work if you are unused to hill-walking and rough terrain. But it was an amazingly beautiful and rewarding experience, which gave an unforgettable insight into the Nepali way of life.
