Day-1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1330m)
We will pick up you from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free time to explore Thamel. (Overnight at hotel on BB basis)
Day-2: Kathmandu to Pokhara drive 6-7 hrs or Fly 30 min (850m)
After breakfast we start our journey to Pokhara (your guide will be with for your whole trip). You can enjoy the scenery while driving on road following the Trisuli River where you might see people doing rafting. After around 6-7 hours (200km) drive you will reach beautiful and peaceful town Pokhara. Or you may take a 30 min flight to Pokhara enjoying the non-stop mountain scenery and valleys. A city with a large lake that offers us the magnificent views of various mountains. Dhaulagiri, the whole Annapurna range, Machhapuchre (Fishtail) amongst others. You will get another chance to do some last minute shopping for the trek and explore around the lake and town. (Overnight at hotel on BB basis)
Day-3: Drive to Nayapul & trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m) 8.5km, 5-6 hrs.
After breakfast, we drive for 1.5 hours to reach the trekking starting point (Nayapul). Our 1st day of the adventure is a little easier. Mostly we walk along the new trail and through the local villages with rice fields all around. For the last hour we walk on the old trekking trail along stones steps. (Over night at tea house on full board basis)
Day-4: Trek to Ghorepani (2850m) 9.8km, 6-7 hrs.
We begin our journey after breakfast, continuing along stone steps we climb up to Ulleri. This is the toughest part of the day. It takes around 2 hours to climb up 500m. We continue to walk another hour through the mountain village and stop for lunch. After lunch we enter the rhododendron forest all the way up to Ghorpani which is about 3 hours walking. Day-5: Hike to Poon Hill (3210m) & trek to Tadapani (2660 m) 11km 6-7 hrs.
Early morning hike to Poon Hill (3210m) to see panoramic views with a multi colored sunrise on the snowy white mountain combining to amaze your senses. You can see more than 10 huge snow capped mountains from Poon Hill including the 7th highest mountain in the world, Dhaulagiri, and 10th highest mountain Annapurna 1st. Then it’s back to the tea house for breakfast. After this we trek to Tadapani through dense forest; we get chance to see monkeys, birds and other animals. (Over night at tea house on full board basis)
Day-6: Trek to Ghandruk (1940m) 6.5 km,3-4 hrs.
After breakfast our trek goes through the rhododendron forest for an hour after which the trail descends steeply through forests where we may encounter monkeys and a wide variety of birds. We take a downhill path continuing to Ghandruk, the largest Gurung village. Make a visit to the Gurung ethnic museum to explore their culture and ancient tradition. Enjoy another great mountain view of Annapurna South and Fishtail. (Over night at tea house on full board basis)
Day-7: Trek to Nayapul (1050m), 11.8 km, 5-6 hours & drive to Pokhara.
Last day of your trekking, you pass through small villages, rice fields and subtropical forests. We will have an easy and pleasant walk along the banks of the Modi Khola river to Nayapul. End the trek and drive back to pokhara. A free evening to enjoy a hot shower, clean clothes and check out the city. And of course a cold beer and good food, what else. (Overnight at hotel on BB basis)
Day-8: Back to Kathmandu. 6 hours drive or 30 min fly.
Back to Kathmandu, you can take a fight or take a drive( Private Car/Tourist bus) back to Kathmandu. After check in to the hotel, free evening you can take a short walk around Thamel and last minutes shopping. Spend a relaxing last night in Nepal.
Day-9: Final Departure to your onward destination.
