We had been to Mardi Himal on a 4 days trek. It was a last minute plan for us but Mr.Sali helped us to plan this trek in a very short span. The experience was amazing and guides Mr. Bipin and Mr. Rahul were so much fun and helpful.

Let’s go, let’s go!! At 62 years old armed with my very 1st passport & airline tickets for my 1st trip out of the country I was on my way to Nepal to trek to Everest Base Camp. I had no fear or reservations about this trip as I was in constant communication with Sali of Mountain World Treks. This company made sure my trip of a lifetime was just that from the moment I stepped off the plane in Kathmandu!! They motivated & encouraged me every step of the trek! We stayed in beautiful tea houses all along the route, safety was the top priority & all the amazing guides shared their knowledge & love of the culture & beautiful landscape. I had been planning this trip for a year & Sali (owner) responded quickly & patiently to my endless questions during that year. It was a difficult trip for me ( 100% due to me underestimating the mighty Himalayas) but Mountain World Treks made sure it was the most beautiful journey I have ever taken. A special thank you to the guide Tek Lamichhane. I was the slowest in the group and he never gave up on me OR let me give up on myself. His words “Let’s go, let’s go” kept me going when I didn’t think I had anything left. This company is beyond compare! There are so many trekking companies to choose from in Kathmandu that it can be overwhelming. I’m writing this review to report that my wife and I were EXTREMELY glad to have hired Mountain World Treks to take us to Everest Base Camp in April 2021. Sali, our guide, and Tek, our porter, were absolutely wonderful to trek with from the very beginning to the end.

Starting in Kathmandu, Sali was very kind and helped us find the gear we needed, even giving us tips on what prices we should expect. After landing in Lukla and hitting the trail, we quickly discovered why Sali had 26 years of successful guiding experience. He was deeply knowledgeable of the area, the people, and Nepali culture; we felt like we learned so much in the days trekking with him just chatting about what we saw and asking whatever questions came to mind.

Even more impressive was his intimate knowledge of the Everest Base Camp trail. Because of Sali’s informative daily briefings, my wife and I felt like we always knew what to expect and were able to walk at a good, comfortable pace. We never felt rushed – despite our sometimes slow walking – and were always on schedule whenever we left or arrived at the teahouses. Overall, the actual trekking experience was so smooth and we believe this is because Sali knew the trail so well that all of our scheduled stops, lunches, tea breaks, and pace were always timed perfectly with the section of trail that we were on that day. This is in contrast to the other groups we met at the teahouses who always seemed late or were walking in the dark. Compared to those other groups, our experience with Sali and Mountain World Treks was much more punctual and relaxed and we even had lots of time for taking photos. In the evening and throughout the day, Sali always gave us a detailed briefing of what to expect so we always knew how to prepare ourselves (snacks, clothing layers, altitude, etc.) for the upcoming trek. He was very mindful of our physical conditions and always checked with us to see how we were adjusting to the altitude, the temperature, the long days, etc. We felt very supported in every way.

Our porter Tek also deserves a lot of credit. He was always very timely with our luggage and always brought it straight to our rooms so that our things were ready when we arrived at the teahouses. We called him the Mountain Man because he was somehow always faster than us despite carrying much more! To top it off Tek was very kind, eager to play card games, and very mindful of our needs. Before we realized we needed water, tea, or coffee, Tek was already asking us for drink orders or was bringing a menu over to us.

We would highly recommend Mountain World Treks to anyone looking for an enjoyable, worry-free trekking experience in Nepal. Both Sali and Tek were extremely service-oriented, deeply knowledgeable, and very friendly/easygoing. A great bonus was that they were both excellent photographers! Thanks, Sali, Tek, and Mountain World Treks for the great experience! We hope to see you again!

Once arriving in Nepal it was clear we had chosen the right man. Was so helpful in organizing our trip, nothing was too much effort for him ????

Saligram was there for us from the time we arrived to the last minute, he put us all at ease very quickly taking good care of us all whilst in Nepal. Can see how Sali has been in the business for 25 years. His porters were very friendly and professional at all times, going out of their way to help.

What an experience we all had, memories we will treasure forever. Mind-blowing.

A friend and I just completed the EBC trek with Sali as our guide. Could not fault the entire experience. Sali is just an all-around great guy who catered to our every need. Nothing was a problem for him. We noticed early on he went the extra mile to ensure we were safe, for example booking the first flight to Lukla before there was a risk of the weather deteriorating. His knowledge of the trail and mountains/sights on it is first rate and he also took hundreds of photos for us so we have lasting memories. Our porter Tek was also a great guy. Very happy we went with Mountain World Treks!

Pikey Peak with Sali Trekking

It was a well-organized trek to Pikey Peak. There was a pre-trek briefing, and duffel bags and sleeping bags were provided.

The guides were friendly and the porters amazingly strong. All meals during the trek were taken care of.

Got to interact with Milan, one of the guides, most during the trek. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Ram, the porter who carried my bag, was the real hero. He, not only carried my heavy bag but guided me until I met Milan.

It was a great trekking experience.

Overall, the trip was very well-organized from start to finish and I had a very comfortable and enjoyable time. Huge shoutout to the porters who were shouldering heavy loads while trekking and assistant guides for taking care of us the entire time. The view was phenomenal, and strongly recommended for nature lovers who have yet to conquer snowy mountaintops.

The sunrise was one of, if not the most breathtaking sunrises I have ever experienced in my life. Words cannot really describe the feeling.

This was my first time trekking in Himalayas. Sali and Sudeep ‘s team made it very memorable for me Right from the Kathmandu airport pick up to drop off ,everything was well organized and went smoothly. On the trek guide Sudeep Bhai and all his porter team members were very helpful. Always with a smile and a helping hand for us. All the tea houses, hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhra were clean. Once in a lifetime AMAZING trip to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)

We were a group of five friends that hiked up to Annapurna Base Camp with Sudip Aryal as our guide. Sudip was the perfect guide for our team, always cheerful and very patient. He was able to judge our pace, motivated us when needed and kept us on track everyday of the hike. Sudip along with a number of porters also helped us capture amazing and fun memories/photographs along the way. Everything on the hike and sightseeing in Pokhara/Kathmandu were meticulously planned and perfectly executed by this team. We had some last minute/impromptu changes to our planned itinerary and they were great accommodating all our needs.

Pikey Peak Trek in Nepal

The Pikey Peak trip was well organized since day 1 to the last day. The logistics support was excellent.

The service from the chef guide to the assistant guides as well as the porters provided their excellent service as well. The guides will accompany you till you have safely reached the destination regardless you are a fast or slow hiker. As they will 'leave no man behind'.

The hiking route was well planned as it gave an option to either Sun Rise hike or Normal hike to the Pikey Peak which no other package has this option.

I will join them again for my next Nepal hike in the near future.

Pikey Peak Trek, Nov 2023 - Best organized trek I have joined so far

Went to Pikey Peak Trek, Nepal in Nov 2023 with Singapore Adventure Nature Lovers (SANL) and their local partner, Sali Trekking, so well organized between them from airport pickup to trekking to saying farewell at the airport departure. The teams were fantastically cheerful, patient, and caring including the porters who were carrying such heavy loads. TS is one of those rare leaders who pops up along the trekking watching over you. We just walk and enjoy the views. It was a wonderful trip.

9 days Trekking trip to Mardi Himal

First of all let me expressed my greatest appreciation to Mountain World Treks & Expedition owned by Sali for putting this trek seamlessly together for my group of friends and myself. This is my 2nd trip with Sali and his team. His team of guides and porters led by Ishwor, gave us a totally unforgettable experience, he shown a high level of professionalism and took care of our every needs.

The trek to Mardi Himal brought us through villages along the way, where we can see the way of lives of the villages. The surprises were, when we passed through the forest, its gave us a very mystical feeling, as once you are in the forest, the mossiness of forest made one feels that you are in a fairy tale.

Despite all the coldness while ascending to the Viewpoint, we all made it to the Viewpoint, where the mountains are just smacked right in front of us with all its might and awesomeness. Photos and words do not do justice for its mightiness, with Annapurna South and Fish Tail Mountain (Mount Machapuchare) smacked right in front of you. We had a great time taking photos to our heart's content.
Well as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. And with a heavy heart we said goodbye to Ishwor's team when we reached Pokhara. Ishwor went the extra mile when we were back in Kathmandu, he took us to visit Bhakatapur, an Ancient City just within Kathmandu city limit.

We all waved goodbye to Nepal and Sali's team with great gratitude and planning for our next visit to Nepal, and will definitely engage Sali and his team again.

Nepal trips we must ONLY travel with Sali

Did Pikey Peak with my 16year girl as part of our mother-daughter Bonding trip. Sali and the team are the BEST when comes to logistics, information, and knowledge of the trek! We were well taken care of and they were always checking on us, ensuring all is well.

A great starter trek to orientate our teens to enjoy the beauty of the mountains with detailed planning and preparation (mentally & physically) for different weather & altitudes. Recommended Prior Physical training will make the trip seem like a breeze...

My only comment is Pikey being a newer route, hope in the future the lodging facilities can be better improved and the possibility of an extra day to even out the trekking distance /pace to make it more enjoyable ;)

Btw did I mention this is my 2nd trip with Sali's team... Did a mother-son Bonding trip 4years back (another route) and was equally as memorable!

It was my 1st time trekking in Nepal, thus not sure what to expect but it turns out to be such an unforgettable and amazing experience. The cold weather makes it tougher sometimes but the breathtaking and beautiful scenery along the trek makes it all worthwhile. It is an indescribable feeling of awe seeing the mountains from such a close range.

I want to specially thank our warm-hearted and caring guides, Ishwor Duwadi and Mahesh Aryal who were totally committed and taking care of our needs. And also not to forget our 4 strong and tireless porters (Binod, Binod with a beard ????, Dipendra and Saroj). We had so much fun with you all. You guys rock!

The Best Trip

Saligram and his team were more than amazing. They made traveling with two young children very easy! They did EVERYTHING from organizing our tea houses while on trek, our hotels in the city, all the trekking and national park permits, domestic flights, and private taxies. We let Saligram know what we wanted and he planned the perfect itinerary for my family of four(children 4 and 8). We did the ABC trek in five nights and it was such a pleasure to be on trail with Saligram, Denish,and Bhuwan. They were so knowledgeable and it was nice to hear about the region and culture. They became more like friends by the first night and we spent most of our free time playing cards, sharing stories, and laughing. They were so patient with my girls and ensured they were always comfortable and happy. The best part was watching them on trail making memories that will last a lifetime. We also explored Chitwan where we enjoyed an awesome canoe and safari ride. We got to see tons of animals. It was a great time being In Pokhara and Kathmandu with the locals too. By the end of the trip, Saligram was more like family and we were very sad to leave Nepal. We are planning our next adventure with Saligram and cant wait for the next adventure!!!

ABC Trek October 2023

I had the most incredible trip to Nepal with my best friend sand their two children ages 8 and 4. Saligram and his team Dinesh and Buhwan were so well prepared and made me feel so safe on the trail and at our teahouses. We truly became friends and played games and talked story, it felt like a dream to experience the mountains and the be so given so much respect and kindness. I never felt rushed and Saligram had us leave at the perfect time almost every single day on trek for us to arrive almost like clockwork each day to enjoy the rain without having to trek through a lot of it. We also experienced a fresh snow fall right before arriving to base camp. Saligram and his team provided us medicine when our stomachs were adjusting after such along travel to get there and was overall a true joy to be around.

He and his team were so well known on trail and I felt proud to be a member of his team and his thorough preparation and experience in these mountains. After watching other guides and others experiences during the trek I felt even more grateful to be a member of his team and their safety protocols. Saligram, Dinesh, and Buhwan helped keep the children entertained and always had a place for us to eat in each tea house for our group. The food on the trail was prepared with care and quickness and was just what we needed to fuel us through our adventure. We were given great advice on what we would enjoy eating, and completed in time for our guides and porter to enjoy festival with their families. Three of of visited the Everest base camp on September 2022 with these people. It was an amazing experience. The trip was well organized and started with a warm welcome from Sandeep who happens to be our guide for the entire journey. We were briefed before the day of the trip by Sali we were well-informed about what to expect and what to carry. It was my girlfriend's first time trekking and it didn't felt like you are going to the unknown even though it was unknown to us Sandeep was work workaholic and very friendly. He has a 100% success rate of getting people to the base camp. He was very enthusiastic about what he did and had a very good knowledge of mountains and treks. He also carries an oximeter and a first aid kit. He monitored our oxygen levels every night after reaching namche, bazaar.

Kathmandu. Sali and Sandeep coordinated with so

many companies and found us the cheapest

helicopter. It's a reflection of this company's

Sameer, they were amazing. Very friendly. We never

had to lift our bags since we reached lukla. They were

always with us. They ran with us to catch the

helicopter. They always had the smile on their face

Maiden Nepal Trip- Langtang Valley

This was my first trip to Nepal so I was filled with thrill and apprehension. It turned out to be one of the most wonderful and memorable trips for me, and this was in no small part thanks to the professionalism, warmth, and care provided by Sali and his fellow porters. They are passionate about their work and more often than not went beyond their normal duties to help those of us in need. My 2nd trek to Everest Base Camp

wonderful trip, amazing team, charming guide

Me and my team visited Annapurna in monsoon season. At first, I was worried
about the weather, but then I’m not regretting it. Personally, I really enjoyed
the trip during the monsoon period. Definitely, less crowds and along the trek,
you can find many of the flora species. Especially from MBC to ABC. The view
from up there was amazing. Once we reached the top, the view was really
breath taking. The charming sunrise made me silent for a few moments on the spot. I was blown away by the stunning scenery.
Our team chose Mountain World Treks as our tour guide. Our guide, Saligram
Aryal speaks Bahasa Melayu and English fluently. It was easy communicate
with him. Saligram and his team were informative, friendly, and humorous.
Always made we laughed. They are very charming, guys. Highly
recommended. *thumbs up* Saligram had taken a good care of our team. He
was very attentive of our safety. Always look after of our sick teammates.
Never left us hungry and always asked “Nak makan apa ah?” The sentence
we missed so much. Big love to Saligram, Bipalka, Suresh and Minur.
Overall, it was great, delightful and amusing experience. I was impressed with

EBC Trek review

Sali and his team were fantastic! Highly recommend! Upon arriving Sali picked us at the airport awaiting us with floral necklaces ready to take us to the hotel. Everything from the moment we landed was effortless due to Sali’s careful planning and preparation. The next morning we began our EBC trek. Throughout the entire time Sali was one step ahead with where we would make our rest stops for meals or where we would be spending the night. Everyone involved was extremely knowledgeable about the mountains we werepassing, wildlife, and lifestyle. Once we competed the trek we had a few daysin Kathmandu before we headed back home and once again Sali had made theappropriate accommodations for us with no effort on our end. Sali absolutelysmashed it for our trip !

I went with a team full of youngsters. Was worried about my stamina and if I can keep up with them. Salli and the team are the best. They treat me the same. Never once they glance at me as an older person. They took care of me from each point, each lodge, and my wonderful guides Ramesh, Samir, and Tek made sure that I drank along the way.

My Favourite Tour Partner in Nepal

I have done tours with Sali in Nepal since 2017, and i haveto say that he have never failed me once! it is always marvelous, and I don'thave to worry about the safety and comfort of my participants as long as Saliand/or his team members are there for us. This year, I had a group of 15 participants with me, and wedid the Everest Base Camp Trek from 28 Apr to 10 May. The weather wasn't verykind this time as it started raining and snowing much earlier and at a much lowerelevation. Coming from a hot weather country, the cold was hard on our bodiesand our participants were having a hard time holding on to their strength. Saliand team made all the necessary to keep the team going, with further assistancewith the day pack weight management, to having their porters provide furthersupport. I am from the Philippines and first time in Nepal and my first trek to Everest base camp. It was very tough but some how i managed to complete the trek. Mind-blowing experience with Sali trekking/Mountain World

Three friends since 18 years, did the EBC with Sali trekking (Also called Mountain World Treks). I had initially planned to trek with an Everester who had inspired me for the last 5 years but a back injury and one of my friend's firm belief in Saligram ( who she had trekked earlier with ) left me with no choice but to gladly follow her.
Saligram with his lovely daughter trekked with us and ensured every arrangement was taken care of to the T. We had a fantastic trekking experience with Salli bhai and his lovely daughter and the trek in itself was made to look like one big holiday. We were accompanied by another fantastic guide named Tek, who ensured we were completely put to ease on a minute-to-minute basis. We completed our EBC trek without any hiccups on 18th April. Having met with many other trekkers we found arrangements made by Salli bhai for us were far from ordinary.

EBC trek with Sali’s team

I am from the Philippines and first time in Nepal and my first trek to Everest base camp. It was very tough but how I managed to complete the trek. After we reach base camp we Take a helicopter down to lukla and fly to Kathmandu. Sali was very good at organizing everything and the trip was smooth with the help of Suresh our guide and porters. It was indeed a great experience to trek for 9 days throughNayapool -Tikhedhunga - Ghorepani - Poon Hill - Tadapani - Chhomrong -Bamboo - Duerali - Annapurna Base Camp (23 Apeil - 1 May 2023) with my team. Especiallywhen it started to snow at the time we were about to enter the main gate ofGhorepani, the first in my lifetime experience of snowing. Poon Hill with its thicksnow was exciting and the clear view of the mountain range had added to me anunforgettable memory. Every single trail of the trek was worth our sweat and muscle. Along the trails, plenty of tea houses with the facilitiesof restaurants, hot showers, hot water, charging of batteries, heaters, etc, madeour trekking convenient and friendly. I saluted to the porters who helped tobring our belongings and necessity to ABC, professionally. The guides (Ishwor& Bipin, from Sali Trekking) were approachable and responsible. When Idiscovered I misplaced my wallet, Mr Ishwor helped arrange it to besent from Pokhara to Kathmandu, in time for me to leave for my hometown. Thoughit was regretful not having a clear view (it was snowing heavily on the 29 Aprilevening and 30 April morning) of the Annapurna range at close-up from ABC, it drivesme to come back again stronger and more committed to ABC? or EBC? or otherattractive trails... Bye Bye Nepal, I will come back again.

April 2023 EBC trek - Birthday Celebration

Namaste. It was one year back that I got in touch with Sali Trekking and just completed the EBC 2023 trek a few days back. From that day we talked a year back till the day we finished everything was perfect. Sali bhai personally came to pick us up at the airport after all the delayed flights and horrible experiences we had and accommodated the whole trek accordingly as we had missed the trekking date. Everything was newly planned and discussed that the previous evening meant a peaceful night. All the guides and porters were amazingly friendly and very understanding as we were 3 ladies celebrating our 40, 45, and 50 birthdays milestones. We even got a cake at the base camp. Niraj and Rhythm are such wonderful souls. Niraj made a point to drop us off at the airport and then flew back to lukla to start a new trek. Excellent service amazing and wonderful people We girls felt so safe the whole trek. So much to express but loss for words. Sali, thank you so very much You will see this mountain goat again very soon ???? I'm glad I decided on trekking with you after intensive research for a whole year, and don't regret it a bit.

I will start by saying that Sali's trek team is AMAZING! I would rate them 10 STARS!! This team has the proper training of the guide who can take people on this lifetime trek with confidence. Sali who received me from the airport was connected and checked in every day through the trip until dropping me back at the airport post-trek. They all treated me with care and respect.

My guide Dinesh is a superstar and an unsung hero! I have no idea how he did it but he made me and other people in the group feel safe at all times and shared with us the history of the places, what to eat, not eat, how to stay hydrated, and motivated us when we needed it occasionally through the trip and knew just about everything! Pat on the back and a huge shout out to him, the porters, and Sali for having his family take care of all things necessary when I was back in Kathmandu before leaving the country.

I have seen many different trek companies along my trek and their guides but what stands out with Sali is the meticulous planning for each day, the guide staying 24/7 with us making sure we are taken care of. Dinesh, our guide used to be up before us and would be ready to say good morning and stay with us till we all leave to call it a night. He would say good night and give tips to be energized for the next day's big trek.

Anyone thinking of trekking to Nepal mountains be it EBC, Annapurna, or your choice of the trek, I highly recommend you go with Sali! An honest and genuine team is very hard to find and I got lucky to get a reference from him my research also led to this team. Fantastic Annapurna Base Camp, Nepal

It’s a very quick and impetuous decision I made to join my team. With full
encouragement from my dad, I ignore the entire murmur surround me
mimicking it is a wasting of time & energy. We decided to join the Mountain World Treks as a captain of this wondrous journey. Absolutely, it is the best choice we have ever made. Along with good accommodation, every here then, we were served with a cup of tea as the weather was too perfect to
enjoy that moment. Regardless of our culture & religion, we do exchange
some ideas, stories & jokes with Saligram Aryal, the commander of this
mountaineering and his team members. Highly recommended buddies to trek
with, nothing will make you feel remorse with the best services they can offer
you with very reasonable price. The view while trekking in Himalayas is
nothing but spectacular. Word can’t even describe the beauty while the wind
always makes itself known when I reach the ridge by blasting me in the face. I
believe I am not the last to walk this trail, climb this mountain and witness
these views. While I am thankful for the work of those who have gone before, I
also sense an important obligation to those who will come after to leave the
trek and the mountain in good condition as I found it. Thank you guys for all

Very prompt and supportive

We completed our EBC trek two days before. really very supportive guide Mr. Bipin and Porter, With their prompt guidance we successfully achieved our wish to EBC trek. Mr. Saligram, MD of the Mountain World Treks, is really genuine and not money-minded, and he timely helped to arrange the heli, without expecting payment, As I was running out of money I paid him helicopter money once I back to India after a week.

I reach Everest Base Camp cos Salli and team cares

I went with a team full of youngsters. Was worried about my stamina and if I can keep up with them. Sali and the team are the best. They treat me the same. Never once they glance at me as an older person. They took care of me from each point, each lodge and my wonderful guide Ramesh and Samir and Tek make sure that i drink along the way. Sali always giving positive vibes and checking our breathing. He always gives us the empowerment that we can do it. Successfully, he brought all of us to Everest Base Camp as promised. Thrilling Helicopter ride

It was an amazing 2 weeks trekking through Sherpa villages to Everest Base Camp! Mr. Saligram, the Trek organizer, replied to all our queries and gave us information all we needed to know before the trek he met us on our arrival and gave us a trip briefing which was very helpful, and helped us with some last-minute shopping too. Our trek was led by Sandip and Tek from Sali Trekking. Both guides have so much knowledge about the area, people, traditions... Sandip went above and beyond for us, to make sure everything went well. which we will be forever thankful for. The trek itself was unforgettable, we enjoyed every step even though some days were really tough. taking a thrilling helicopter ride back to Lukla was a great experience, loved it.

If you are thinking of doing a trek in Nepal, Sali Trekking and his team are the ones to look for. Highly recommended. Think about taking the helicopter back, you gonna love it.

Amazing experience with sudip and tek

Just finished Everest Base Camp and the Kala Pathar trek with Sudip and Tek as our guides. It was one of the best experiences of my life! They were brilliant guides and were very welcoming. They accommodated all our group needs and were flexible when needed. They both supported our whole group of 8 and made sure there was no one left behind. It was a very enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend mountain world treks specifically Sudip and Tek as the guides.

Nepal is at its best!

Did Annapurna Base Camp Trek from 22 March through 2 April. Our guides- Dinesh, Sital, and Mahesh provided excellent service, especially during the trek to guide us, gave us helpful tips, and prepared us for what was ahead the next day. During mealtimes, they served us to the T before they had their meals. We made great friends with them too! Down-to-earth young men with great teamwork. Grateful for them! I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them for another trekking trip in Nepal. Highly recommended! Sali, you have a great team!

Solo trek to Everest Base camp

I had the bestest 8 days of my life. I personally want to thank @Mountain world treks & expedition (Saligram Aryal) for the arrangements of this trip & giving me the best guide for my tour of Mt. Truly Epic EBC Trek

Sali has built an amazing team of guides and porters. They are very well organised, very knowledgeable, and very helpful, and really made us feel at home in the mountains.

They would always check up on us to ensure everyone in the group was okay and offer medical and moral support every time it was needed. The guides Sudip and Tek were totally awesome. They bent over backward to make sure we were well looked after and that we were able to make lifelong memories.

On one occasion, we wanted to dip our feet in the Dudh Koshi (Milky River) but we could not see any route to go down a huge and steep hill. But as soon as we told the guides, they told us not to worry, just follow us and they took us down the steep hill safely to allow us to enjoy an unforgettable moment along the river bank. That was just one of these moments where they continued to amaze us. Taking Chopper back to Lukla was another highlight of the trek.

Have been to many group holidays and have had some fantastic memories - but honestly, with Sali's team they have really made this trip EPIC. Much Kudos to Mountain World Treks for what they do - they are truly awesome and stayed with us literally every step of the way. Highly recommended!

Awesome trekking experience and good companion

Dream came true

I love to travel and I have been to many places. But this time I was about to visit Nepal. I have never been there before. On top of it, EBC was on my bucket list from a long time, which took my expectations on a higher note. As I knew I will go back to Nepal again and again to witness it's beauty. So I was worried about my first visit. Thankfully I came in touch with Sali Dai, He helped me to fulfill my dreams, by taking care of my trip end to end. He and his team were amazing. Amazing Trek to Everest Base Camp

Just came back from Everest Base Camp and what an experience it was! We had Sudip and Tek as our guides from Mountain World Treks and they were absolutely amazing. They were flexible with the itinerary and they always made sure to accommodate whatever we wanted. Taking Chopper back was a great idea. Sudip took some amazing photos of us and even showed us how to take drone capture from our phone cameras! I could not have asked for anything more from them and they treated us like their family. I would like to go back and do the Gokyo or Annapurna trek and would definitely use Mountain World trek and would love to have Sudip and Tek as my guide again!

Namaste. Truly grateful for the trekking experience with Mountain World Treks @ SaliTrekking. We went to ABC with Mountain World Treks @ SaliTrekking in 2018 and this year, Oct 2022, we returned to treks EBC via Gokyo with Mountain World Treks @ SaliTrekking again!

Thanks to our great guide, Suresh. Without his support, we probably not able to complete the EBC treks. He is knowledgeable, super hardworking, extremely patient, friendly, and incredibly funny. He took good photos too! Thank you again Suresh for pushing us through and keeping the vibes and excitement high.

Lastly, our grateful appreciation to Saligram for doing the nearly impossible task of securing our spot and getting us to the Surke by helicopter ride when there were no flights to Lukla and the helicopter ride was in high demand. Professional and personable

This was my first time in Nepal, and in the Himalayas in general, and what an adventure it was! We were a group of 5, and we signed up to the Mt. Everest Base Camp trek. A total of 14 days is what we had on the agenda. Saligram and his team were amazing. They were totally professional. I would like to particularly call out Ishwor who was our guide on the trek. Trek to ABC

1st time trekking. 1st time to Nepal. Could not have asked for a better trip.
Both my guide and porter went above and beyond the call of duty when I got
sick and were extremely helpful. We modified the itinerary a bit and still made
it to ABC. They answered all my questions. Never once felt like I was on my
own. Whole heartedly recommend. Maybe Mustang next year.

We were supposed to do EBC but bad weather prevented any flights to Lukla.
Thanks to Saligram Aryal to make the best out of it and organised a well
planned ABC trek via Poon Hill.
We had great 9 day hike in the Annapurna region. ABC is marvellous, a bit
hard but when you get there you forget everything. The whole experience
from beginning to end was amazing and highly recommend both Mountain
World Treks and Expedition as a company and Prakash as a guide. Along
with the breath taking views and occasionally challenging terrain with the
comfort of having a knowledge guide to make life easy. Our guide and porter were
was a lot of fun. Amazing trip!!

Wonderful and memorable trip

We (my wife and sister-in-law) spent 9 wonderful days in Nepal with mountain world treks. Our guide Suresh was great, brought us to ABC and back safely, he took care of our needs during the trip, and we felt safe trekking with him. Our 2 porters, Raju and Ram are also excellent. Will surely trek with them again for future trips to Nepal. Note on things to improve is that guides should carry a basic 1st aid kit to treat minor scratches or sprains.

Annapurna Base Camp Feb 2023 By Mountain World Trek

Was a fantastic experience! We did this trek in Feb 2023. Westayed in tea houses throughout. Comfortable stay and amazing food. The scenery changes every day. Would recommend without a doubt to all who love the outdoorsand have a decent fitness level (Warning: Chomrung stairs are a killer but themountains are out of the world and you’ll be waiting to go back!) We hired a guide and porters from the Mountain World Trekcompany under Mr Sali. He arranges everything we need from day 1 to 10. An Amazing trek ABC and mardi Himal

I joined a Malaysian group for Annapurna base camp and Mardi himal Trek Dec 2022. The trek was organised by Sali trekking, and the organiser himself guided us in the mountain along with his assistance guide and porters. The Trek route was amazing, and all went well. We all had a great time! Sali was 26 years experienced guide, so easily 30 people in the group. Everything went as planned, and we all 30 people in the group made it to Annapurna base camp, and 13 of us went to mardi himal after the abc trek. Thanks to team Sali trekking for this amazing trip, I would highly recommend team Sali trekking, and I hope to do more trekking with you guys. Cheers!

Annapurna and Mardi Himal combo trek

Not sure of what to be expected when signed on few months ago, this 9 days trek of ABC and Mardi Himal organized by Sali trekking turned out to be one of my most memorable trips and treks. In the trip I met some of the most sporting trekking buddies that keep the spirit up even when the hike seems to be keep going up! The landscape and scenery is beautiful and simply mesmerizing at every turn of trek. The great thing about ABC trek it offers a diverse experience and scenery. After the transport dropped us at Samrong, the first day it was all about local villages and their lifestyle and cultures. Second day from Sinuwa to Deurali it is all about forest before land turns barren towards Deurali. Third day was the most magnificent with barren land and stunning views all the way to MBC and ABC. With winter trek, the temperature can drop and night time up to minus 8 when we were in ABC. My trek was not ended yet. With another 4 trekkers in ABC group, we joined up 13 trekkers that going up to Mardi Himal. The trek is shorter however compensated with steep hike all the way from Forest camp till Mardi Himal. It was a stunning view 360 degree view at Mardi Himal. For those who have time and meet certain level of fitness, ABC and Mardi Himal combo treks is highly recommended. The trek was made even more enjoyable by Sali trekking, whohas experience since 2008 for treks around Nepal. Mr Sali has personally attended to us and what I like most is his personality and hospitality that make us feellike a friend along the trek. Even when Mr Sali didn't join us during Mardi Himal trek, his capable lead guides Surdip and Dinesh are more than capable replacing him with similar hospitality. We enjoyed spending the nights playing Dhumbal, matches between Malaysia and Nepal. What I like Sali trekking will give us a brief what to be expected in next day trek, the intensity, landscape, distance (or duration) etc so that you know what yo be expected. Also kudos to the professional porters that for some even act as cameramen for us! :) Again thank you for Mr Sali and his lovely daughter, Jwala for the memorable experience..

Mardi Himal trek with my first trek

My first trek in Nepal, I enjoyed my first trek in Nepal with my husband and friends from Malaysia. Beautiful view and amazing guides and porters, without their support I don't think I would have made it. Big thanks to team Sali trekking guide audio and Dinesh. Very easy going trip arrival to departure well organized. Thanks again and hope to trek again in the Himalayas maybe next year.

Trip of life time_ Everest base camp trek

Everest base camp is a life changing experience Big thanks to Sali and his team who helped us to make it happen. I joined a group of 12 people from Malaysia, met strangers and became good friends at the end. Sudip, Tek, Ramesh and all the porters were amazing, thanks for the support every step, without you guys no way I can make this trip. It wasn’t easy, due to altitude and the long day's hike.

As we trek in early December it wasn’t crowded, some of the overnight places, only our team stayed overnight which was a great part of the trek too. Our accommodations and meals were excellent. And our guide makes sure we are getting good food and drinking enough water. It was such great company as we hiked through the mountains. It was a lifetime experience. Thanks to Sali and his team. Will come back to Nepal for another trek for sure, and if possible, I want to join the same team (guide and porters). you are the best…. bravo.

Unforgettable trekking to EBC.

We went with them to Everest base camp trek. And we made it to Everest base camp! It was a long and hard trek, but our guide and porter made it a great experience for us. Our guide Niraz made sure we were physically and mentally ok every day. When we had issues with altitude, he tailored the schedule to make sure we stayed in a teahouse with all the necessary medications and safety precautions, and changed flights for us so we had an extra day of acclimatization. Along the journey he was always patient with us, giving us time to take all the pictures we wanted and answered every question we had about anything. Most importantly, our guide was caring and fun, which made our trekking experience much more enjoyable. I would definitely go with them again for our next adventure in Nepal.

EBC has been in my bucket list for so long and i finally planted down my feet on it with Mountain world treks. Really thanks to our tour guide Tek and sudip for taking care of us throughout the trek. I, my husband, and the other 28 in the group just completedthe Annapurna base camp trek and went back to Malaysia. As it was my first trekto Nepal, I found it a bit tough due to all these stone stairs & coldweather, but trekking was beautiful through the local villages and forest, andwalking over the tree lines to Annapurna base camp. It was magical, surroundedby the Himalayas, and I don’t have words to describe it. Mr. Sali was leading thetrip and took care of all the group members throughout the trip. Had the best time trekking to EBC! Our guides Sandip and Tek did an amazing job during the entire trekking days. The porters were also very accommodating and helpful. A great experience to be able to complete EBC with my 11 new buddies.
Great support and care especially Mr. Tek, my assistant guide aka sweeper. He helped me and another friend all the way everyday.

Mr. Ramesh, one of my favorite porter who always returned to trek and help carry our backpacks whenever we were late to our lodges. He accompanied and handled our horses when we on our way from Gorakshep to EBC too. He accompanied us when we need to evacuate by helicopter due to AMS. He managed our boarding passes and our luggage and make sure we reach Kathmandu safely.

Mr Chakra, one of our porters also returned to trek and help carry of backpacks one day.

Mr Vola, one of our porter helped us when we were struggling on our horse rides and assisted us when we hiked on the rocky and glacier trails near EBC arch.

We couldn't have made it to EBC without their support and assistance.

Amazing experience on EBC Trek- Great company

From the beginning the communication was outstanding. Saligram and Sandip
made us feel comfortable and taken care of. From being picked up at the
airport to making it to base camp and everything in between the service was
incredible. Sandip went above and beyond as our guide. He knows so much
about the area and the mountains and how to make a safe trek. He even

2nd time trip with Mountains World Treks

This was my 2nd time trip to Nepal with Mountains World Treks. 2018, ABC and recently just did EBC. The whole journey was not easy but it's really worth it. Amazing Trek with Fantastic Guide

A friend and I just completed the EBC trek with Sali as our personal guide.
Could not fault the entire experience. Sali is just an all-round great guy that
catered to our every need. Nothing was a problem for him. We noticed early
on he went the extra mile to ensure we were safe, for example booking the
first flight to Lukla before there was a risk of weather deteriorating. His
knowledge of the trail and mountains/sights on it is first rate and he also took
hundreds of photos for us so we have lasting memories. Our porter Tek was
also a great guy. Very happy we went with Mountain World Treks!

He always went the extra mile to ensure we were safe, for example, carrying
some pills just in case we experiences altitude sickness (which I did) and
booking the best flights to/from Lukla. He has in-depth knowledge of local
culture, traditions, mountains and attractions in Nepal - we ended up booking
a side trip Chitwan with him which was first class.
Worth booking the trip just for his photography and video making skills,
memories we will have forever. Very happy we went with Mountain World
Treks and it is highly highly recommended,

Best trekking company in the Himalaya’s.

I am a 71 year old man from Holland and I have made two solo treks with
Mountain World Treks.
Two years ago to Annapurna Base Camp and this past November to Everest
Base Camp.
If I could give Saligram's company 10 stars I would do it without hesitation.
It is not always easy for a man my age who started his trekking hobby only 3
years ago to do these treks.
But what a wonderful experience and live changing events they have been! In
both cases the guides and porters were first class.
Important is the attention for detail. Everything was organized in minuscule
detail. When the flights from Kathmandu to Lukla were booked Mountain World
Treks organized a helicopter. I also opted for a helicopter ride back to Lukla
from Gorakshep.
When I felt low my guide (Suresh) gave me much needed encouragement and
we completed the trek. They never pushed me beyond my limits. The costs
were very reasonable and competitive.
It becomes clear that Saligram is very compassionate about his business. This
is a competitive business in Nepal with some 1400 companies offering treks.
Mountain World Treks ranks amongst the top 20 and I would not be surprised
if they will rank amongst the top 5 in the coming years.
A nice aside to mention here is that Saligram sponsors an education program
for the children in his home village of Nalang.
A good education is crucial for them to improve their chances for the
future. There is a lack of teachers (cost of a teacher is US $200 per month)
and he also helps with bringing education to the schools via Internet).

So while you are trekking you indirectly help some children improving their
lives. How cool is that!
So look no further. Go with Mountain World Treks and you will not be
disappointed.(and go jam, jam, bistari. A favourite saying in Nepal to encourage
trekkers to go slowly, very important for all trekkers but especially when you

BEST GUIDE AND PORTERS ON OUR ABC TREK

Did a trek to ABC with Ishwor (guide) from Mountain World Treks. We decided to do the trek with Mountain World after recommendations from our friends who had previously done a similar trek to ABC with them beforeCOVID-19. They are the best team to go trekking in Nepal with! Not only were we well taken care of throughout the entire trek, but they were also very helpful in helping us arrange activities in Pokhara (Eg. paragliding). Trekking was at a good pace as well and the views were really out of the world. It's unreal. So beautiful. YOU HAVE TO SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT. Special thanks also go out to our guide Ishwor and our porters Ram, Saruch, Couldn't have done it without their help! P.S. In my opinion, if it matters to anyone reading this, they seem to be one of the more ethical companies around. One porter carried two person's belongings - roughly 20-25kg. In comparison, I saw porters from other companies carrying 40kg each for travelers. The working conditions of porters from the Mountain world are one of the better ones around. Our porters were also in great spirits throughout the trek which was nice to see. ANYWAYS, A TREK WITH MOUNTAIN WORLD IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Incredible EBC Trek

I completed the EBC trek with Sali as our personal guide and Teck as our
porter. I did this with a mate from Australia and we both had a fantastic time!
Both of us rate it as one of our best ever travel experiences. Sali is an
awesome guy with perfect English that catered to our every need, often
anticipating what we might need.

Clearly the experience in the mountains trekking from Lukla up to EBC was out of this world literally. The history, the views, the spirituality of the experience and the daily challenge to slog 7 hour tough but rewarding days. What made this special was the friendliness, professionalism and organizational skills of Saligram and his team and the guidance and care I recieved from my guide Ishwor throughout the trip. The accommodation, food and accessibility to good toilets, hot showers, internet and power all the way up to 5000 meters at Gora Shep added to the magic of the trip and the comfort level for a 63 year old like myself. I want to credit Saligram for his professionalism, responsiveness, adaptability and hands on service delivery to make my experience seamless and fantastic. Thanks Ishwor for becoming my friend and companion on my solo trip and your efforts to always make me comfortable.

My first Nepal visit

My first time to Nepal and first time trekking high altitude mountain, EBC. I have contacted a few tour companies but Saligram from Mountain World is the fastest to get back to my queries via whats app. My whole journey to EBC was very smooth and as per planned, thanks to my guide (Suresh) and porter (Samir) for being there! Mountains ...means Sali trekking

I could enjoy my trek because my guide ...as I lovingly call him Sali 'bhai' in different tones carried my worries. I could pose, I could sing, I could dance, I could swirl...because I knew I could scream...''Where are you Sali bhai ' n I would get a response... in fact...I screamed Where are you Sali bhai even after I reached home !!!! ;))) but uh well I had to lift my own weight ...so I decided to go back to the mountains...........higher, stronger, wackier, swagger...:)

The tea houses were well selected - always comfortable, hygienic, and with sufficient amenities and good food.

The guides were always attentive to everyone’s needs and performances throughout the hike - making sure that any unwell team members were well taken care of - even the porters were super helpful! There were many instances when the guides and porters turned back on the route, just to support the other team members who were lagging behind the trek. This is something done from the heart - and I don’t think any other agencies will provide such dedication to their customers.

The route was well planned with sufficient rest days for acclimatization - good for participants with varying levels of fitness.

A heartfelt thank you to Sali, Dinesh, Ramesh, Ishor, and Tek - just to name a few guides who made our experience wonderful.

First time to Nepal

I travelled with my group of 18 to EBC and EHP in October, locally planned by Mountain World Treks, led by Sali and team. It was a long trip and had many unplanned activities. And that is where we saw how Sali and team really shined. No matter what kind of surprises came up, the logistic is magically taken cared of. For example, when the Lukla airport was closed, Sali managed to secure heli for us to squeeze in to Lukla, and when we decided to take another route to return back to Namche, there was no trouble with lunch planning and the night's accommodation. along the new route.

Including Sali, we had 4 guides and 8 porters. To me, safety is the most important. The team ensured that they are distributed to our smaller groupings and there is always someone behind. When our group members has various medical emergencies and had to split up, the team reconfigured quickly to ensure that our groups are adequately taken cared of.

Speaking of taken-cared-of, the guides like Dinesh, Tek and Ramesh are chatty and very approachable. Our group had lots of laughter with them, from silly jokes, to song and dance, to cultural exchanges. Everyone of them (including the porters) are very friendly, experienced, responsive to our needs and doing every bit to keep us motivated and happy. At the lunch places and tea houses, the team also ensured that we get our food quickly, diligently checked everyone's oxygen level, and gave sound recommendation and advices - which I am certain it meant a lot to our group members who had fallen unwell.

Everest base camp with Mountain World

This is my 2nd trip with mountain world. Its awesome trip with great organizer.

Everest base camp with team sali

I was impressed and have great wonderful experience with Mountain World Treks. Sali and his team demonstrated their excellent and world class service. Sali lead by example where he personally attend to us individually. He is knowledgeable and resourceful in solving any issues.

We have a total of 4 guides including Sali: namely Dinesh, Ramesh & Tek and 8 porters. All of them served out of their heart! The Guides are quick in response, caring, honest, and accommodating. They are patience as some of us were slow and never rush us. To ensure our safety, there is always a guide as sweeper. We learnt so much of Nepali cultures with our dialogues with them during the trek. The porters, especially Samir (who is the youngest & helped to serve us during meals), are our heroes with the heavy loads on their shoulders and they will encourage us as we met at rest points. We will not make it without them carry our duffel bags.

We are thankful that all of us make it to Everest Base Camp. I salute Sali and the team for making this journey possible. Continue to deliver your very best for their clients! Keep it up!

Safety & Comfort well taken care of at EBC trek!

I just returned from Everest Base Camp (EBC) in Oct 2022. Even though some of us were suffering from AMS (fatigue, headaches, nausea, etc) Sali and his team did his best ensuring each one of our safety and comfort were being well taken care of in the entire journey! He even prepared cakes and celebrated the birthdays of 2 of our fellow hikers. Talking about personal touch, as I was one of the slowest due to AMS (literally gasping of air every few steps), Sali not only did not leave me alone, but ensuring that someone was with me all the time. We had even had fun riding the the horse together up to EBC. It was a memorable experience, indeed!

Great Trip - EBC Trek Route

I heard of Saligram through a friend and decided to check his company out
since I was planning to try EBC. Sali has been incredibly positive and helpful
from the start to the end. I have sent him endless question about the trek and
he was always quick to response and very realistic about the trek. He will
explain carefully what to expect and what to do if something happens. He is a

Annapurna BC via Poon Hill

My trekking experienced in Nepal was amazing. I personally can say this is
the most epic solo trekking experienced I ever done. With spectacular
panorama mountain range view & well organized mountain guide tours by Mr Saligram & his teams. Trip was running smooth as planned. I really enjoyed
myself with sherpa's Ishwor Duwadi. He is very helpful to capture a lots of
beautiful pictures. We laughed and had unforgettable pleasant journey to ABC.

We (my husband & I ) enjoyed the trip from Kathmandu, Pokhara and Annapurna Basecamp Trek. Sali prepared all very well. The person who picked us up at the airport dropped us to the airport, the hotel where we were staying, and tea houses on the mountain. Wonderful Journey to Everest Base Camp via Karikhola

Early September 2022, we trekked to Everest Base Camp via Kharikhola. We had a problem going to Lukla by Flight. Sali and Mountain World Treks solve our trip they make it happen by going there by jeep. Wonderful Journey and a good experience with Sali.

However, we succeeded in reaching Everest Base Camp (EBC) in 9 days. He had very good knowledge and also good service during the expedition.

This is my 2nd time using Sali and Mountain World Trek. The first was my trip to ABC back in 2016. This time my trip was to EBC from Sept 1st to 13th. Sali is an experienced, resourceful, and passionate mountain guide. He and his dedicated Sherpa will ensure your trip is successful. He is easy to deal with starting from organizing the itinerary, re-planning the route due to Lukla's flight being canceled, managing your expectations, and taking care of everyone in the group. Everything can be discussed and cater to meet the client's expectations. To those planning a trip to beautiful mountain ranges in Nepal, whether short or long trip, I highly recommend Sali's service. P/s me and my whole team made it to EBC on 10th Sept, Kudos to Sali & Team. And flying back to Lukla by Helicopter after base camp, you won't regret it, you may plan ahead with a hike up and fly down plan. I am sure gonna love it.

An amazing experience

Traveling to Anapurna Base Camp is an experience I can never forget in my
life. I can see the mountainous scenery, where waterfall and river stream that
flows from it. With cold temperatures and foggy, the mood was very fresh and
touching.
Although the journey is challenging, but with the encouragement and the best

Amazing experience!

My husband and I were there on our so-called honeymoon. We chose the Mardi Himal trek simply because we heard how beautiful the trek, and not as hard as other treks in Nepal. And we had the best trekking ever! The trek was beautifully breathtaking, especially the trek from middle camp to High camp. Personally, the trip with Saligram and his team was great! They tend to all our needs, from the time we arrived, until the last day in Nepal. They made us feel like family. And Sudip, our guide was very knowledgeable and kind. Challenging trek to Everest base camp

Sali and his team of experts know their stuff and from the airport itself, they take you in and make you feel at home and welcome. The entire trekking experience is professionally managed with the utmost emphasis on safety. I highly recommend mountain world trekks to amateurs and experienced trekkers. You are always in safe hands!
The Everest base Camp trek is not easy but not difficult enough to dissuade you entirely. It's a welcome challenge! The best option after reaching base camp is to take a helicopter back to Lukla, save the days, and save energy.

EBC Trek with Saligram Team

It was our long time bucket list dream to do the EBC. We four of us did with
Saligram's Team. We are so lucky that we did choose this company. Our tour
guide Tez and two porter ( Bimal and Tika) all of them are friendly and helped
us all possible way. It is all adds up 11 days walk and 14 days trip and we
never felt we are left alone. From landed to Kathmandu till fly back our
international flight - they always escort us, support us, look after us. We were
so close to miss our Lukla flight and if we missed that we would miss our
international flight from Kathmandu but our tour guide Tez have arranged
internally and manage to get us on early flight from Lukla and we got on time
to Kathmandu. We had a really enjoyable time this whole trip. Thanks

Wonderful hike.. Great guide

Did my EBC with a couple of friends. Got to know Sali from another friend.
Super friendly and responsive. We were nervous as this was our first major
hike. Nonetheless he answered all our questions, big and small, and even
shared photos of his hikes to motivate us..
During the hike Sali and his team made sure that all of us were taken care of,
checked our condition all the time to see if we were ok. Thanks to them, all of
us made it to EBC! Will totally engage them again if we are to go. Next target
ABC, or maybe island peak!

Amazing Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek

I finalized Mountain World Treks (Sali trekking) after going through numerous traveler reviews and it was a good decision. Mr. Saligram Aryal the MD of this company helped in planning and customizing the round trip: Kathmandu - Pokhara - ABC - Pokhara - Kathmandu. Mr. Ishwor Duwadi was the trek guide.

They both met me at the Kathmandu airport upon my arrival and lodged me in Hotel Florid in Z-Street, Thamel, the heart of the tourism hub in Kathmandu. I opted for an inclusive package so that I didn't have to worry about arranging things for the trip.

Ishwor accompanied me throughout the trip and guided the trek. He arranged for accommodation in the Tea Houses that had the best mountain views. Since it was only us both and not that much of a crowd, I trekked at my own pace and he was patient enough too. He spoke good English, so communication was never a problem.

The entire trek was physically demanding, but it was worth it for the views we got in MBC and ABC. We trekked through the forests, climbed numerous hills, crossed rivers and streams, and climbed the infinite number of stairs made of rocks and boulders. Ishwor was always around me and ensured a safe trip.

This trip was my first Himalayan trek and I had numerous first-time experiences, such as high altitude, steep ascent and descent, snowfall, sub-zero temperature, and standing at the base camps of Annapurna and Machhapuchhare mountains.

I recommend this tour company to anyone willing to tour in Nepal. Looking forward to my next adventure with them.

Trekking Experience

Before I decided to do the trekking to the EBC, I did not have much
confidence.
However after scanning various YouTube videos I came across Sali and his
guide services who promptly responded to all my queries and built up my
confidence in making my imaginations a reality.

perfect Poonhill and ABC trip

My experience with Mountain World Treks was great.

I followed Saligram on Facebook for a few months before deciding that I wanted to go to Nepal. I liked his pictures/videos, so I decided to have the courage and try an incredible adventure on ABC (April 2022).

Why was it the best choice?

1. Because he gave me all the information clearly and in time: what documents I needed (he even filled them for me); and offered me an alternative to the plan I had in mind (plus flexibility). 10+

2. Because he knew how to choose the most suitable guide and porter; both were very patient and very attentive. At the top of the mountain, at over 4000 meters, I received an assorted plate of fruit (see picture). They took care to take breaks, hydrate, and eat; they checked my oxygen level daily and encouraged me constantly. 10 +

1. The best accommodation available was the best available. Where there is a possibility, I stayed alone in a room, even with an individual bathroom. A real luxury. 10+

2. Saligram checked every day (yes, every day) if I arrived well, if I was fine, if everything was ok. I felt pampered.

3. Because the last day of the trip was also my birthday, I found at the hotel a specially arranged room and a huge cake that made my day really special (see photo). It was GREAT to have a birthday cake waiting for me after 1 day of walking.

In conclusion, everything was organized perfectly (and at a lower cost than other companies). Thanks for everything, Sali.

My second consecutive year trekking with Mountain World Treks &
Expeditions and each experience is better than the last. Sali has a team of
professional and dedicated guides, who are truly more like our friends than
merely fulfilling their work obligations. Thank you for the unforgettable
memories - Suresh Regmee, Dinesh Aryal and not forgetting Sudip Aryal
(from our ABC trek last year)! It was yet another amazing trek we

Mardi Himal trek in Nepal with Sali

This is our 3rd time engaging with Sali and his team. Last week was our 1st hiking trip experience during Winter to Mardi Himal. It was awesome and the view was Majestic. Mardi Himal Trek with Sali

Once again I received a top-notch trekking experience with Sali and Mountain World Treks. My fifth trek with Sali was in January this year on the Mardi Himal Trek. It was a truly wonderful experience walking through a beautiful forest and then having the breathtaking views of the snow-covered Himalayas including the Annapurnas and Mt. Fishtail. As usual, Sali took excellent care of me, always being the consummate guide with knowledge and expert advice. I was a little nervous about negotiating the trails coming down with all the ice and snow. However, Sali, who thinks of everything, provided crampons to make the descent almost easy! Hopefully, I will be back again to do another trek and will use Sali anywhere I go in Nepal!

ABC in December

The trek to Annapurna Base Camp was quite a joy! Our group of 12 was very
well taken care of by Saligram and his crew from Mountain World Treks. As
expected, for a group that size, there was a range of abilities and needs.
Clearly he's seen that before and was able to calmly and cheerfully shepherd
us up the mountain. Our trip was from Nov 28th to Dec 12th and included 10
days of trekking. The weather was just right - not too hot or too cold - with
quite manageable nighttime lows. Clear views afforded beautiful photographic
opportunities. Be prepared for many portions of the trail to be rocky, and

What a great experience travelling with Mountain World Trek with friendly
guides Ishwor Duwadi and Tek lamichhane and all the porters. They helped
us along the trek and make the trekking a lot easier. I am very happy trekking

Incredible EBC Trek

I completed the EBC trek with Sali as our guide and Teck as our porter. I did this with a mate from Australia and we both had a fantastic time! Both of us rate it as one of our best-ever travel experiences. Sali is an awesome guy with perfect English that catered to our every need, often anticipating what we might need.

He always went the extra mile to ensure we were safe, for example, carrying some pills just in case we experienced altitude sickness (which I did) and booking the best flights to/from Lukla. He has in-depth knowledge of local culture, traditions, mountains, and attractions in Nepal - we ended up booking a side trip to Chitwan with him which was first class.

Worth booking the trip just for his photography and video-making skills, memories we will have forever. Very happy we went with Mountain World Treks and it is highly highly recommended,

Incredible Journey to Annapurna Base Camp, Nepal

I seek not only an adventure but a inspirational experience. Immersing oneself
in another culture is life changing. I believe u see the world differently
afterwards. Amazing trek that we took in the Nepalese Himalaya. Trekking in
the beautiful Himalayas and interacting with the people of Nepal, seeing their
resilience and hope for a better life is an unforgettable experience.
We trek to Annapurna Base Camp, a spectacular journey on foot to the South
Face of Annapurna with this amazing guide Saligram Aryal and his team
(Mountain World Treks and Expedition ltd.). If u are thinking of tackling the
base camp, I would highly recommend this agency for ur next trip. The
experience, albeit grueling in parts, feel safe for us and we came out the
other side having had the time of our lives.
I will remember all of this journey. Thank u to u guys. Wake up and it's cold, u
get some warm clothes and sit on the edge of a cliff with a cup of black tea
warming ur hands up. The wind gently moves the clouds that covered the
mountains. Gradually, great snowy peaks begin to emerge, the sun rises, the
mist descends and the show overwhelms u. Now u are in a magical place, take
a deep breath and watch, enjoy ur black tea and feel the peace surrounding
the place that u will never forget.

Trek to ABC

We had a fantastic time with Sali and our porter Prakash. The
package didn't tell us that a comedian, Prakash, was included in the package.
He was great fun!
The choice of accommodation by Mountain World Treks was superb. We
always had a clean comfortable bed and a hot meal for us after a days worth
of trekking.

Excellent Choice for a Trekking Company!

There are so many trekking companies to choose from in Kathmandu that it
can be overwhelming. I’m writing this review to report that my wife and I were
EXTREMELY glad to have hired Mountain World Treks to take us to Everest
Base Camp in April 2021. Sali, our guide, and Tek, our porter, were absolutely
wonderful to trek with from the very beginning to the end.
Starting in Kathmandu, Sali was very kind and helped us find the gear we
needed, even giving us tips on what prices we should expect. After landing in
Lukla and hitting the trail, we quickly discovered why Sali had 26 years of
successful guiding experience. He was deeply knowledgeable of the area, the
people and of Nepali culture; we felt like we learned so much in the days
trekking with him just chatting about what we saw and asking whatever
questions came to mind.
Even more impressive was his intimate knowledge of the Everest Base Camp

trail. Because of Sali’s informative daily briefings, my wife and I felt like we
always knew what to expect and were able to walk at a good, comfortable
pace. We never felt rushed – despite our sometimes slow walking – and were
always on schedule whenever we left or arrived at the teahouses. Overall, the
actual trekking experience was so smooth and we believe this is because Sali
knew the trail so well that all of our scheduled stops, lunches, tea breaks and
pace were always timed perfectly with the section of trail that we were on that
day. This is in contrast to the other groups we met at the teahouses who
always seemed late or were walking during the dark. Compared to those other
groups, our experience with Sali and Mountain World Treks was much more
punctual, relaxed and we even had lots of time for taking photos. In the
evening and throughout the day, Sali always gave us a detailed briefing of
what to expect so we always knew how to prepare ourselves (snacks, clothing
layers, altitude, etc.) for the upcoming trek. He was very mindful of our
physical conditions and always checked with us to see how we were adjusting
to the altitude, the temperature, the long days, etc. We felt very supported in
every way.
Our porter Tek also deserves a lot of credit. He was always very timely with
our luggage and always brought it straight to our rooms so that our things
were ready when we arrived at the teahouses. We called him the Mountain
Man because he was somehow always faster than us despite carrying much
more! To top it off Tek was very kind, eager to play card games, and very
mindful of our needs. Before we realized we needed water, tea or coffee, Tek
was already asking us for drink orders or was bringing a menu over to us.
We would highly recommend Mountain World Treks to anyone looking for an
enjoyable, worry-free trekking experience in Nepal. Both Sali and Tek were
extremely service oriented, deeply knowledgeable and very friendly/easy
going. A great bonus was that they were both excellent photographers!

Perfect Combination of Professional Guiding and a goodsense of Humour

I did 5 Treks (Annapurna Basecamp, Mardi Himal, Annapurna Circuit, Langtang & Gosainkunda, and Everest Basecamp) and one Climbing Tour to Lobuche Peak in 2,5 months with Mountain World Trek and couldn't be happier with my choice. From managing and preparing the documents before entering the country of Nepal, over professional advisory to the Trek and Equipment to excellent guiding during the Trek: Saligram Aryal and his Team did an amazing Job at all times. I did all the Trek with Saligram himself except from Langtang & Gosainkunda. This Trek I did this with Sudip Aryal, the Senior Guide in the company. Sudip was also very experienced and had a great talent for knowing the needs of his client. Especially when I was catching a cold and felt bad, I felt in my best hands! At the Everest Base Camp Trek, the Porter Tek Lamichhaneal so joined our group. He was not only carrying some of our stuff, but he also took great care of our food ordering and made sure our rooms were clean and the water bottles were always full. Besides that Tek always has a joke ready to drop and he taught us some Nepalese words/sentences. You can feel there is a good atmosphere in the company and a good cooperation between the guys and the whole team. The perfect combination of professional guiding, a lot of background information about the country and the culture, and most importantly: a good sense of humour and a lot of fun!! This was a lifetime experience for me and I'm so happy that I could share it with some people I like. I can recommend the Services of Mountain World Treks and I'm sad my adventures together with them are over for now. But I will comeback and will be happy to do other Trekking/Climbing Tours with them. Thank you Sali Dai for everything! I was looking for a Guide and found a really good friend!

We were very well taken care of from the moment we step foot in Kathmandu.
Trip were very well organized &one can immediately tell that Sali is a very experienced tour operator. Every needs, details & even a small gap were all filled up. There was a need for emergency evacuation due to personal health for one of our friends; Sali took care of everything personally without having to leave guiding the rests of us. Memorable Everest Base Camp trekking!

What could i say! Go with Mountain Word Treks and you will never regret it.
Top notch service from Saligram and team.
This is my second trip with the company however for Everest base camp trek,
I did solo. They have customised the itineraries according to my ability and
needs. As a woman, I feel safe during the long trekking days with my guide,.
He is a wonderful companion on the trek who really take good care of me;

from picking at the airport, making sure i am ok on the trek till end of the trip. I
am glad to reach the base camp with good nudge from Suresh Ji.
Not forgetting the pep talk from Sali that I could do it which I did.

I love the interaction with locals either on trek or at the tea house and other
foreigners as well. Practising my limited Nepali vhasa. On the other hand,
some Nepali who used to work in Malaysia would practise with their Malay
with me :)

Dreams are made of this Oct 2016

My second visit to Nepal, Saligram arranged our first visit to Kathmandu and
trek to Poon hill a few years ago and we fell in love with the country and
people promising to return. Our day tour to Bhaktapur was interesting even though many of the buildings had been damaged by the earthquake. There is a lot of rebuilding going on and I'm sure all will be restored eventually. Our overnight trip to Nagarkot was excellent, this is an introduction to the countryside without trekking. The views of Himalaya range breathtaking. Sali made our few days memorable, his forte is definitely the mountains and trekking routes but he did a great job making our short visit memorable. I would highly recommend him and his porters.

EBC TREK DEC 2019

Recently went on an EBC Trip dec 2019. Definitely recommended travel
agent. All the guides and porters are warm friendly and helpful. Even though
we struggled during the trek, we had so much fun ! The guides are very
friendly and willing to help us if anything. Accomodation was great ! After all,
we really had a great experience and looking forward to come back in the

Mountain World Treks & Expedition PLTD arranged our 14-day trip that included 9 days of trekking to Annapurna Base Camp. From Kathmandu Airport pickup to Airport drop-off, everything was handled by them. We had great hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara, reliable transport, and best of all the great guides Sudip and Dinesh on the trek. They took care of the stays, and the meals, helping us on the way if we needed help. Great attitude! Very friendly. The weather turned out to be very nice too. Spectacular views, great places to stay. Would love to do another Himalayan trek again. And will definitely choose Mountain World Treks & Expedition PLTD.

EBC TREK - DREAM COME TRUE

Let’s go, let’s go!! At 62 yrs old armed with my very 1st passport & airline
tickets for my 1st trip out of the country I was on my way to Nepal to trek to
Everest Base Camp. I had no fear or reservation about this trip as I was in
constant communication with Sali of Mountain World Treks. This company

made sure my trip of a lifetime was just that from the moment I stepped off the
plane in Kathmandu!! They motivated &encouraged me every step of the trek!
We stayed in beautiful tea houses all along the route, safety was the top

& beautiful landscape. I had been planning this trip for a year &Sali (owner)

First time visit to Nepal to do EBC

I did EBC trek with Mountain World in Sept 2019.
It was my first visit to Nepal and I traveled solo.
Saligram from Mountain World was very helpful; I first contacted him back in
June 2019 with a lot of questions – since I knew very little about doing
trekking in Nepal – and he responded promptly every time.
I arrived at Kathmandu on Sep 5th, and flew to Lukla the next day, where I
met my guide – Tek – at the airport.
Since it was in the beginning season, the trek was quiet and peaceful which I
really enjoyed from day 1.
The accommodations and foods were far better than I expected.
I did not get the good view at both EBC and Kalapathar due to thick cloud that
blocked the otherwise beautiful views of surrounding peaks (risk taken for
doing trekking in early Sept).
Overall, it was a very enjoyable and memorable trip, thanks to Mountain
World, Saligram and Tek who had made all the arrangements for a smooth
trip…..

A simple dream to the roof of the world.

My main priorities when hiking or rather trekking would be safety. And Sali @
Mountainworldtrek is just what I am looking for when choosing a suitable
organiser for this EBC trip. I felt safe to the point that I started to worry
unnecessary about their strict daily health screening just in case they will not
approve my further ascent. But, safety do comes first for them. Trek with
peace of mind with Sali.

Unforgettable trekking experience

I did the trek to Everest Base camp in Sept 2019 with a group of 29 ppl. It
was hard for me due to altitude and I have upset stomach and vomiting since
day 2 of hike but I still able to walk at a slower pace to reach Everest Base
Camp. Everything was very well organized from day one and provided the
group with support as well as attending to our needs during the trek. Sali is a
reliable, responsible, well organized and caring person that you can fully trust.

Everest Base Camp

Being in a group of 30 people, I had a great time thanks to Sali and his team on
this hike. It was a well planned trip with the just the necessary stops for
acclimatisation and this allowed us to enjoyed the scenery. Some other
groups we seen/met was rushing up with minimal stop.
He is sensitive to our needs and at times adjust the meals to our 'mood' as we
hike up.
Overall, great hike, good team support and an added plus for Sali for being
able to converse in Bahasa.

Hiking to the base camp with friends was one the best thing in my life. I was
totally healed by the amazing snow mountain scenery, beautiful valley and
forest as well as the local mountain village. Sandip is an organised and
friendly guide, he was trying to encourage us during the entire journey. He is

trekking much efficient and easier.

Amazing experience in EBC with Mountain World Treks

Recently, we did the Everest Base Camp Trek with Mountain World Treks
Team. Even though our group were very large (29 packs), it was an amazing
experience for all of us. The overall performance of the Mountain World Treks
Team was top-notch. Our guide Mr Sali was a good friend throughout the
journey. We didn’t have to worry about anything as everything was planned
and executed by him and his staff quite immaculately. The journey was filled
with Sali’s insight on the terrain, always smiling, cheerful and helpful. He also
made sure that all of the services regarding the teahouses in the mountain
were taken care of in terms of meals and the rooms. Moreover, his team of
porters Tejal, Ramesh, Naren and Comel made the whole trek fun and happy.
They were so helpful and never once complained even though they had to
handle a large crowd, carrying the heavy bags. Moreover, they made sure the
team members drank enough water, followed the instruction for avoiding AMS
at the higher altitude. I will give all the credit for this great trip to the Mountain

World Treks Team and highly recommend them to anyone as you will get
exactly what you pay for, if not more!

Annapurna Base Camp.

We planned for EBC but God has other arrangement for us. Instead of EBC,
we spent 9days trekking to ABC starting from Nayapul village. It turned out to
best the journey of my life.
Sali and his team make sure that we are treated nothing less than a vip
service. The iti was perfect, meeting everyone capability to walk 8 to 9 hours
perday.
The meals and accomodation was nothing less than satisfying. Everyone in
the team helped each other and no one was left behind.
If you planning a hiking trip to Nepal, you can't go wrong with Sali and his
team.
