Peak climbing

Nepal has a rich history of mountain climbing. The Everest region alone boasts 4 of the worlds 6 highest mountains. But it’s not all about the 8000m giants. The Nepalese Himalaya has more than one thousand peaks above 6000m to choose from.  For those trekking in the Everest region who want an extra challenge there are several popular options.

If you are looking for a peak to climb in the Annapurna region we would recommend Pisang Peak (6091m/19983ft). This is usually combined in to the Annapurna circuit trek and is situated close to the highest pass in the world Thorong La (5416m/17769ft). From the summit you will have a bird’s eye view of what is generally accepted as one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world.
