Annapurna circuit trekking is one of the top ten trekking destinations in the world. It is famous for its varied trekking routes which can range up to 300 km long and attain an altitude of 5416m, crossing the highest pass in the Annapurna region. The Annapurna Circuit Trek has become popular with trekkers for the surrounding natural beauty of towering majestic mountains, cascading waterfalls, huge cliffs and picturesque villages where the culture of the region can be appreciated.

The trek starts at Beshisahar in the Marshyangdi River Valley and ends in the Kali Gandaki, the world’s deepest gorge which is made even more impressive by the incredible massive height of two mountains, Dhaulagiri at 8167 m. and Annapurna 1 at 8091 m. After crossing the highest pass at 5416 m., the trail opens up into the unbelievably beautiful Mustang Valley which is only surpassed by the magnificent Himalayan Mountain Range overlooking this valley. The trekking trail is regularly used by the local traders, so trekkers will encounter strings of pack ponies with tinkling bells, herds of goats and buffalo along with many of the local people.
